Together Calia Clubb and Bliss Beck formed the best hitting combination in the WAMAC West Division and helped Clear Creek Amana to an unbeaten conference record and divisional title.

On Thursday the Clear Creek Amana duo were recognized as two of the top players in the conference.

Both Clubb and Beck were unanimous first-team West Division selections and Beck was named the West Division player of the year when the WAMAC Conference released its postseason awards on Thursday.

Beck emerged as one of the top front row threats in the conference this season ranking second on the team with 306 kills while leading the Clippers with a .332 hitting efficiency.

A 6-foot-2 sophomore, Beck also had a team-high 92 blocks during her breakthrough season.

Clubb was a unanimous first-team all-West Division selection for the third consecutive season after leading the Clippers in kills for the fourth year in a row.

Clubb led Clear Creek Amana with 340 kills and was second on the team with 291 digs and 33 ace serves to go with 35 blocks.

Sophomores Meg Berkland and Addison Gisleson were both named to the West Division second team.

An honorable mention pick a year ago, Berkland led the Clippers with 402 digs and 39 ace serves.

Gisleson ranked third on the team with 92 kills and 275 digs and added 27 ace serves and 12 blocks.

Senior Morgan Etscheidt and junior Silvana Kabolo each earned honorable mention honors in the West Division for Clear Creek Amana.

Solon junior Delaney Bombei was named to the East Division second team after earning honorable mention honors each of her first two seasons.

Bombei led Solon with 209 kills, 85 blocks and 39 ace serves and ranked second on the team with 131 digs.

Solon seniors Camryn Keith and Alexa Hupfeld each earned honorable mention status in the East Division.
