City High is headed to the regional title game.

No. 13 City High secured a spot in the Class 5A, Region 4 title game with a 25-21, 26-24, 24-26, 25-14 win over Southeast Polk in the regional semifinal on Thursday in Iowa City.

The Little Hawks improved to 20-14 on the season with the win and will travel to defending 5A state champion and third-ranked Ankeny (38-5) in the title game on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Claire Ernst had 22 kills, 14 digs and three ace serves in the win over Southeast Polk while freshman Emmy McComas had 15 kills and 20 digs.

Makayla Ribble had 50 assists and 19 digs for the Little Hawks while Morgan Turner added 19 digs.
