Class 3A top-ranked Solon used its trademark depth to distance itself from a solid field while winning the team title at the 40^th Annual Lynx Invitational on Saturday in Troy Mills.

Solon had three runners in the top six and five in the top 15 while cruising to the team title with 40 points.

Class 2A fourth-ranked Tipton was second with 89 followed by 3A ninth-ranked Marion with 105, 2A fifth-ranked Williamsburg with 143 and 3A No. 20 Washington with 20.

1A sixth-ranked Regina was eighth with 207 points in front of ninth-ranked North Linn with 210 as each of the top nine teams are ranked.

Kayla Young led Solon with a third-place finish in a time of 19:42 while Gracie Federspiel was fifth in 20:05 and Emma Bock was sixth in 20:17.

Anna Quillin was 12^th in 20:33 and Mara Duster finished 14^th in 20:40 for the Spartans.

Mya Whitaker led Regina placing 10^th in a time of 20:29 while Natalie Franklin was 35^th for the Regals in 21:43.

Addison Grady of Hudson won the individual title in 19:37.
