Your Prep Sports 

For the fourth consecutive week Solon is the top-ranked team in the Class 3A girls cross country rankings after retaining the top spot in the most recent rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The Spartans lead a 3A top five that also includes Western Dubuque, Ballard, Spencer and Gilbert.

Solon is one of six Your Prep Sports teams in the most recent rankings and joins Regina as the area teams ranked in the top 10 in their respective classes.

The Regals dropped one spot to sixth in the most recent Class 1A rankings.

West High remained No. 12 in the Class 4A rankings while City High is 14 and Liberty High is No. 16. Clear Creek Amana is No. 17 in the Class 3A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week are Pleasant Valley (4A), Mid-Prairie (2A) and Logan-Magnolia (1A).
