More than midway through the season Clear Creek Amana will play its first game as a ranked team.

Clear Creek Amana made its season debut in the Associated Press football poll this week coming in at No. 10 in the Class 4A poll released on Tuesday.

The Clippers have won four straight games and improved to 4-1 on the season with a 48-9 win over Oskaloosa on Friday.

City High and Solon each held their spots in the most recent poll.

Solon (5-0) remained third in the Class 3A poll while City High (5-0) held at third in Class 5A.

Regina (5-0) dropped one spot to fourth in the 1A poll.

Top-ranked teams this week are Ankeny (5A), North Scott (4A), Harlan (3A), Southeast Valley (2A), Van Meter (1A), West Hancock (A) and CAM (8-player).
