City High finished fourth in a strong nine-team field at the Jim Boughton Invitational on Thursday at the Dubuque Cross Country Complex.

Seven of the nine teams in the field were ranked with Class 4A sixth-ranked Pleasant Valley claiming the team title with 45 points.

Second-ranked Dubuque Hempstead was runner-up with 48 and No. 13 Dubuque Senior was third with 105 while No. 12 City High and 3A sixth-ranked Western Dubuque each finished with 119 points.

Freshman Ani Wedemeyer led the way for the Little Hawks with a nine-place finish in a time of 19:13.

Iris Wedemeyer finished 21^st in 19:44 while Rowan Boulter was 23^rd in 19:47.
Tatum Frazier was 30^th in a time of 20:09 and Lucy Corbin was 36^th in 20:44 for City High.
