City High won a five-set thriller over Dubuque Wahlert in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division match in Dubuque.

The Little Hawks won 22-25, 25-22, 25-17, 17-25, 15-11 to improve to 6-5 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.

Dubuque Wahlert dropped to 3-11 and 0-4 in MVC matches.

Makayla Ribble had 29 assists, 19 digs, seven kills and three ace serves to lead the Little Hawks.

Emmy McComas had 12 kills, 15 digs and four ace serves and Claire Ernst had 10 kills and 13 digs.
