Solon and City High each climbed two spots in the most recent prep football poll released by the Associated Press on Tuesday.

City High (3-0) jumped two spots to fourth in the Class 5A poll while Solon (3-0) rose two spots to third in the Class 3A poll.

The Little Hawks are 3-0 for the first time in 2010 after a 43-5 win at Ames on Friday and will host West Des Moines Dowling (1-2) on Friday.

Solon improved to 3-0 with a 28-14 win over Williamsburg on Friday and will travel to ninth-ranked Davenport Assumption (2-1) on Thursday.

Regina (3-0) remained third in the Class 1A poll after earning a win via forfeit on Friday over Mid-Prairie.

Top-ranked teams this week are Southeast Polk (5A), Indianola (4A), Harlan (3A), OABCIG (2A), Van Meter (1A), West Hancock (A), CAM (8-player).
