Class 4A No. 12 Liberty High finished runner-up at the 27-team Luther All-American Invitational on Saturday at Luther College in Decorah.

Christian Montover placed 12^th and Aidan Decker was 13^th as the Lightning finished with 118 points behind only team champion Onalaska (Wisconsin) who won with 38 points.

Minneapolis Washburn was third with 168 points followed by 4A No. 16 Linn-Mar with 173 points, Bloomington Jefferson with 179 and Port Byron with 191.

Class 1A ninth-ranked Regina placed 16^th with 437 points.

Montover placed 12^th in a time of 17:16.81 while Decker was 14^th overall in 17:25.32.

Ethan Keeney was 19^th in 17:35.05 and Gavin Keeney was 22^nd in 17:39.08.

Regina was led by sophomore Aidan O’Neil who placed 18^th in a time of 17:33.94 while Adam Boblenz was 94^th in 19:14.84 for the Regals.
