City High swept Cedar Rapids Washington 25-17, 25-10, 25-16 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division match on Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.

The Little Hawks improved to 5-5 on the season and 2-1 in MVC play with the win while Cedar Rapids Washington dropped to 1-6 and 0-3 in conference play.

Claire Ernst led City High with 13 kills and nine digs while freshman Emmy McComas added eight kills and 10 digs.

Sara Cassady had seven kills and Makayla Ribble had 29 assists, six ace serves and 11 digs in the win.
