Tate Brunk fired a two-over par 73 to place fourth overall while helping Liberty High to a fifth-place team finish on Tuesday at the CRANDIC golf meet at Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville.

Brunk finished five strokes back of individual medalist Charlie Allen of Cedar Rapids Xavier and runner-up Reid Hall of Cedar Rapids Kennedy who each shot a three-under 68.

The 73 from Brunk and a 79 from Ryan Schmierer helped Liberty High place fifth at the nine-team meet with a 316.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy edged Cedar Rapids Prairie by six strokes for the team title with a 300 while Cedar Rapids Xavier was third with a 309 and Cedar Rapids Washington was fourth with a 311.

West High placed eighth with a 326 and City High was a ninth with a 397.

Ben Schafer fired an 81 and JJ Grimm an 83 for Liberty High.

Dillon Croco led West High with a 77 that put him in 10^th place overall while teammate Brady Simcox shot a 79 and Cole Eberly added an 83 for West High.

Ethan Nace led City High with a 94.
