Regina made its season debut in the boys cross country rankings on Tuesday jumping into the Class 1A top-20 released by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The Regals enter at No. 9 in Class 1A after a strong outing in its season-opening meet last Thursday.

City High is fourth in the Class 4A rankings, down one spot from last week while West High jumped into the top-10, climbing three spots to No. 9 in Class 4A.

Liberty High is No. 12 in the latest 4A rankings.

Solon is No. 12 and Clear Creek Amana is No. 15 in the latest 3A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week are Sioux City North (4A), Dallas Center-Grimes, Danville/New London (2A) and Earlham (1A).
