The Your Prep Sports Alumni Report is a weekly segment that recognizes the accomplishments of graduates from YPS area schools that are continuing their careers as student athletes at the collegiate level. Alumni News is a way for readers to keep tabs on former area standouts as well as honoring those athletes that continue to excel at the next level.
Adam Bock
Former Solon standout and current South Dakota State sophomore linebacker Adam Bock had a big game in a 42-23 win at Colorado State.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Bock had eight tackles, including seven solo stops and two tackles for loss, broke up two passes and had a quarterback hurry.
Regan Steigleder
A former West High all-stater and current senior midfielder at Northwestern, Steigleder had a goal and an assist to help the Wildcats rally for a 3-2 win over Kent State on Sunday.
A four-year starter, Steigleder has helped Northwestern to a 2-3 start to this season.
Ali Tauchen
West High graduate and current Missouri Western senior Ali Tauchen was named the most valuable player at the Missouri S&T Miner Invitational last weekend helping the Griffons to a 3-1 record at the two-day event in Rolla, Missouri.
Tauchen had a team-high 43 kills on .391 hitting in the four matches and also had 27 digs and nine blocks.
