Regina had four players honored by the River Valley Conference and West Branch had three players earn all-conference recognition when the league announced its postseason awards.

Seniors Adam Connell and Sean Nugent and sophomore Danny Gavin were all named to the RVC South Division team for Regina joining West Branch juniors Lucas Pierce and Gage Gingerich on the South squad.

Regina junior Cam Lehman and West Branch senior Gavin Hierseman were both honorable mention selections.

Nugent and Gavin were both outfield selections on the South Division team while Connell was a pitcher on the South squad.

Gavin led Regina with a .392 batting average and had a team-high 29 hits and 25 walks while driving in 14 runs.

Nugent hit .319 with 10 RBI and stole 12 bases while Connell went 4-3 with a 3.33 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings.

Gingerich earned South Division honors as a catcher after hitting .288 with three doubles and seven RBI for the Bears.

Pierce was selected to the South Division team as a pitcher after posting a 2-1 record and 1.06 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched.

The junior also led West Branch with a .382 batting average, nine doubles and 18 RBI.
