Class 3A sixth-ranked Anamosa defeated Regina 5-0 in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest on Thursday in Anamosa.

Anamosa improved to 19-3 and 10-1 in RVC play with the win while Regina dropped to 11-6 and 9-2 in conference games.

Emily Watters tossed a one-hitter for Anamosa, striking out 19 without allowing a walk.

Emma Nibaur had the lone hit for Regina and took the loss, allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out seven in six innings.
