Class 4A No. 13 Clear Creek Amana went 1-1 at the Fairfield Tournament on Saturday defeating Class 2A top-ranked Wilton 7-2 and falling to Van Buren 2-0.

The Clippers moved to 12-3 on the season with the 1-1 performance on Saturday and have won 11 of their past 12 games.

Ashley Webb took the loss against Van Buren allowing two runs on two hits in six innings.

Chelsey Huff tossed a complete game two-hitter for Van Buren striking out 15.

Webb and Gabrielle Bedford had singles in the loss to Van Buren (14-2).

In the win over Wilton Webb got the victory allowing two unearned runs on five hits while striking out six without a walk.

Bedford doubled and drove in two runs and Reece Stockman had a hit, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Bailey Olerich and Emma Mathis each had a hit and scored twice, and Olivia Miller had a hit and drove in a run.
