Softball Roundup: Regina Hammers 17 Hits in Win at Camanche

Regina hammered 17 hits on its way to a 15-2 win over Camanche on Thursday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup at Gus Witt Field in Camanche.
The Regals improved to 9-3 on the season and 7-1 in RVC play with the win while Camanche dropped to 2-11 and 1-9 in conference games.
Baylee O’Connor went 5-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored to lead the Regals while Annie Gahan had three hits, scored four runs and drove in a run.
Emma Nibaur, Courtney Kessler and Emma Sueppel all had two hits for Regina.
Nibaur and Kessler each scored twice and drove in two runs while Sueppel had two RBI and scored a run.
Kate Milder had a double, Abby Clark had a hit and Gabby Sueppel had a hit and scored two runs.
Jaelyn Ernst scored twice for Regina.
Nibaur earned the win allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits while striking out seven and walking two.
