Baseball Roundup: Regina Remains Unbeaten in RVC Play with Win Over Bellevue

Regina pushed its winning streak to three on Thursday with a 9-1 win over Bellevue in a River Valley Conference contest in Iowa City.
The Regals improved to 5-1 on the season and 5-0 in RVC play with the win while Bellevue dropped to 2-3.
Adam Connell claimed the win for Regina working four shutout innings before giving way to relievers Jack Tierney and Cameron Lehman.
Connell allowed just three hits and struck out eight while walking one.
Tierney allowed one run on two hits and struck out five in two strong innings of relief before Lehman worked a scoreless seventh to secure the win.
Declan McCoy had a pair of hits for Regina while Sean Nugent and Danny Gavin each had hits and drove in runs for the Regals.
Nugent scored twice while Tierney scored a run and drove in a run and Lehman scored two runs.
Levin Quinlan, Blake Chambliss and Jack Clark all scored runs for the Regals.
