Your Prep Sports

As the girls soccer postseason gets rolling four Your Prep Sports area teams will enter regional play ranked in their respective classes.

Clear Creek Amana and West High each held their spots in the final regular season rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Wednesday with Solon and City High returning to the rankings.

West High held its spot at No. 13 in Class 3A while City High returns to the 3A rankings at No. 15.

Clear Creek Amana remained ninth in the Class 2A rankings while Solon climbed back into the Class 1A rankings at No. 15.

Top-ranked teams in the final rankings of the season include West Des Moines Valley (3A), Waverly-Shell Rock (2A) and Davenport Assumption (1A).
