West High had its season end with a fifth-place finish at the Class 4A, Region 3 meet at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City on Monday.

Bettendorf shot a 355 to win the team title while Southeast Polk was runner-up with a 369 as both teams advanced to the Class 4A state meet on June 1-2.

Cedar Rapids Prairie was third with a 371 followed by Newton with a 396 and West High with a 399.

Rylee Heryford of Newton won the individual title with a one-under-par 71 while Shannyn Vogler of Bettendorf and Addie Berg of Cedar Rapids Prairie were each two shots back with a 73.
