Solon made its season debut and City High returned to the girls soccer rankings on Wednesday when the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its most recent rankings.

Solon (9-4) has won four matches in a row and entered the rankings at No. 15 in Class 1A while Regina (5-5) dropped one spot to No. 12 in the 1A rankings.

City High (6-4) returned to the Class 3A rankings at No. 15 while West High (8-4) dropped one spot to No. 13 in 3A.

Clear Creek Amana (12-0) is the highest ranked Your Prep Sports area team in the rankings, holding its spot at No. 5 in Class 2A.

The Clippers are the lone remaining unbeaten team in 2A and trail Waverly-Shell Rock (10-2), Council Bluffs Lewis Central (12-2), Norwalk (10-2) and North Polk (11-2) in the 2A rankings.

Top-ranked teams in this weeks rankings are Davenport Assumption (1A), Waverly-Shell Rock (2A) and Ankeny Centennial (3A).
