Top-ranked West High capped off an unbeaten regular season with a 9-0 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet in Iowa City.

West High improved to 15-0 with the win while Cedar Rapids Kennedy had a five-meet winning streak snapped and dropped to 11-3 on the season with the loss.

Caroline Chandler, the lone senior on the West High roster, earned a 6-0, 6-0 win over Grace Niemuth at number two singles on senior night Thursday.

Chandler, who will play collegiate tennis as John Carroll University closed the regular season 14-1 in singles play and 9-1 in doubles matches.
