Solon won 11 events and added 10 runner-up finishes while cruising to the team at the Marion Invitational on Monday at Thomas Park in Marion.

The Spartans finished first and second in seven of 12 individual events on Monday while racking up 225 points to easily outdistance host Marion which was second with 115.

Benton Community was third with 105.

Ava Conrad swept the throwing events as Solon was first and second in both while Makinley Levin won the long jump and added a title in the 200.

Callie Levin won the 400, Ashlyn Williams won the 3,000 and Sophia Stahle claimed the title in the 100 hurdles.

Callie Levin (long jump), Elly Holubar (discus), Leah Kollar (shot put), Monet Barnhouse (100), Mia Stahle (200), Ashley Stinocher (400), Annika Kruse (3,000) and Jada Buffington (100 hurdles) all posted individual runner-up finishes for Solon.

Solon won the shuttle hurdle, sprint medley, distance medley and 4×400 relays and was runner-up in the 4×100, 4×200 and 4×800.
