Bella Pettersen and Neely Maurus finished first and second to lead Liberty High to the team title at the Mount Pleasant Invitational on Friday at the Mount Pleasant Country Club.

Pettersen fired a two-under par 34 on the back nine to finish with a 72 on her way to earning individual honors while Maurus was runner-up with a 76.
Teammate Brianna Butterfield finished third with a 94 for the Lightning as Liberty High finished with a 350.

Ottumwa was runner-up with a 454 while Muscatine was third with 456 followed by Mount Pleasant with a 456 and Clear Creek Amana with a 462.

Ellie Hagen shot a 97 to finish fifth for Clear Creek Amana while Meg Berkland shot a 112 for the Clippers.
