Solon won 10 events and added five runner-up finishes while rolling to the team title at its own Deny Gruber Relays on Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium in Solon.

The Spartans got individual titles from six different athletes and also won four relays while rolling up 178 team points to finish 109 points in front of runner-up Cedar Rapids Prairie.

Mount Vernon was third with 67 points followed by Pekin with 57, Marion with 52 and North Cedar with 40.

Makinley Levin won the long jump with a mark of 16-8 1/2, Kaia Holtkamp cleared 5-0 to win the high jump and Mia Duckett added a title in the 200 in 26.81.

Emma Bock won the 400 in a time of 59.93 while Anna Quillin captured the title in the 800 in 2:31.36 and Kiersten Conway won the 3,000 in 11:24.84.

Ava Conrad was runner-up in both the shot and discus for Solon, Levin was second in the 200, Gracie Federspiel was second in the 800 and Mia Stahle was second in the 400 hurdles.

The Solon squad of Mia Stahle, Duckett, Sophia Stahle and Bock won the sprint medley relay in  1:51.8 and Mia Stahle, Heather Bachus, Federspiel and Holtkamp won the distance medley in 4:24.97.

Solon also added relay wins in the 4×100 and 4×400.

Monet Barnhouse, Addie McQuinn, Sophia Stahle and Duckett won the 4×100 in 52.09 and Holtkamp, Levin, Ashley Stinocher and Bock won the 4×400 in 4:13.07.
