City High had four individual champions on its way to a third-place team finish on Saturday at the Dr. Brooks Valley Relays at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines.

Isaac Rohret, Ammon Smith, Ford Washburn and Matt Schaeckenbach all won individual events for City High as the Little Hawks finished half a point out of second place with 103.5 points.

Ankeny Centennial won the team title with 135 points followed by West Des Moines Valley with 104 and City High.

Southeast Polk was fourth with 101 and Indianola was fifth with 100.5.

Rohret won the 200 in a time of 22.66 and was fourth in the 100 in 11.29 to pace City High.

Smith won the 800 in 2:01.88, Washburn won the 1,600 in 4:34.32 and Schaeckenbach added a title in the 400 hurdles in a time of 57.36.

Jovan Harris was runner-up in the 200 in 22.99 while the City High shuttle hurdle relay team of  Schaeckenbach, Austin Rindels, Harris and John Aschenbrenner was second in 1:00.61.
