Clear Creek Amana Senior Withrow Named WAMAC West Division Player of the Year

Clear Creek Amana dominated the WAMAC West Division this season going unbeaten against West Division competition while claiming a share of the overall conference crown.
The Clippers domination continued when the conference released its postseason awards on Tuesday.
Clear Creek Amana put three players on the WAMAC West Division first team, highlighted by West Division player of the year Christian Withrow, and had six players earn all-conference honors after posting a perfect 12-0 mark against West Division teams.
Seniors Withrow and Mike Potter were both unanimous first-team picks and were joined by fellow senior Ryan Navara on the West Division first team.
A unanimous first-team pick for the second straight season Withrow was named the West Division player of the year after averaging a West Division-leading 19.1 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the field.
Withrow added 5.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Potter was a first-time first-team selection after averaging 9.8 points and leading the Clippers in rebounding (7.3), assists (4.3) and steals (2.1).
Navara earned first-team honors after ranking third on the team in both scoring (11) and rebounding (5.2) and averaging 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Junior Kyle Schrepfer and senior Brock Reade were both named to the West Division second team.
Schrepfer averaged 11.1 points and 1.8 assists per game and shot a team-leading 43 percent from 3-point range while Reade averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Junior Ben Swails was a West Division honorable mention honoree after averaging 7.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
