Liberty High pulled away from Keokuk for a 63-36 win on Friday in the regular season finale for both teams in Keokuk.

The Lightning outscored Keokuk 36-19 in the second half while improving to 6-5 on the season while Keokuk dropped to 12-8.

Kelby Telander scored a game-high 21 points and Ira Hazeltine and Basil Aldoss each had nine as Liberty High stopped a five-game losing streak.

Grayson Tyler had seven points and Griffin Kraft six for the Lightning.

Callum Tackes led Keokuk with 11 points.
