Class 3A fourth-ranked Solon closed the regular season with a 62-38 win over Washington on Thursday in a non-conference contest in Solon.

The win was the third straight for Solon which closed the regular season 19-2 while Washington dropped to 14-6.

Ben Cusick had a game-high 17 points to lead three Solon players in double figures as Kinnick Pusteoska had 12 points and Carson Shive added 11.

David Bluder had nine points and Will Noonan eight for Solon.

Ethan Patterson led Washington with 10 points while Kasen Bailey had nine and Trashaun Willis 8.
