Girls Basketball Roundup: West Branch Closes Regular Season With Win at Mid-Prairie

West Branch will entering the postseason as one of the hottest teams in Class 2A.
The Bears made sure of that on Thursday.
Third-ranked West Branch pushed its winning streak to 14 with a 60-31 win over Mid-Prairie (10-11) in its regular season finale in Wellman.
With the win West Branch closes the regular season 17-1 and a perfect 12-0 against River Valley Conference South Division opponents.
Rylan Druecker led four West Branch players in double figures with 17 points and also grabbed four rebounds and handed out four assists.
Sasha Koenig had 16 points, nine assists and five rebounds while Delaynie Luneckas had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Taya Young had 12 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Bears.
