Five Your Prep Sports area teams all held their spots in the most recent basketball rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

West High, City High, Clear Creek Amana, Solon and West Branch all remained in the same spots from a week ago in what will be the final rankings of the season for Classes 1A, 2A and 3A.

West Branch (16-1) will enter the postseason ranked third in Class 2A while Solon (15-5) will start regional play on Saturday at No. 12 in the 3A rankings.

In Class 5A West High (9-3) held its spot at sixth while City High (7-4) stayed steady at No. 12.

Clear Creek Amana (15-4) is No. 15 in the Class 4A rankings.

Four top-ranked teams remained the same as Glenwood (4A), Cherokee (3A), Maquoketa Valley (2A) and Algona Garrigan (1A) all remained atop their respective classes while Waukee took over for Johnston at number one in Class 5A.
