Boys Basketball Roundup: Mount Vernon Snaps 16-game Solon Winning Streak

Class 3A fourth-ranked Solon had a 16-game winning streak snapped with a 60-47 loss to rival Mount Vernon on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Mount Vernon.
Mount Vernon improved to 12-5 and avenged a 74-70 overtime loss to the Spartans last month with the win while Solon dropped to 16-2 with its first loss since the season opener.
David Bluder led Solon with 23 points, six rebounds and three steals while Ben Cusick added eight points and four rebounds for Solon.
Carson Shive had seven points, four rebounds and four assists and Kinnick Pusteoska had four points, four rebound and two assists.
