Boys Basketball Roundup: Solon Survives Against Beckman to Stretch Streak to 15 Straight

It took a second-half rally and a late defensive spot but Solon stretched its winning streak to 15 on Tuesday.
Solon rallied from a two-point halftime deficit and came up with a steal as time expired to down Dyersville Beckman 38-36 in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Solon.
The Spartans improved to 15-1 on the season and completed the season sweep of the Blazers with the win while Beckman had a two-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 10-6 on the year.
Carson Shive had a game-high 13 points to lead Solon while David Bluder had eight points and Will Noonan added six for the Spartans.
Logan Goedken had 11 points and Jacob Hermsen had nine for Beckman.
