The City High girls bowling team finished third at the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Divisional meet on Thursday at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo.

City High finished with 2,586 pins finishing behind team champion Western Dubuque which won with 2,829 and runner-up Cedar Falls which finished with 2,751.

Elyse Rios rolled a 408 to place fourth overall finishing 21 behind individual champion Sam Neuses of Western Dubuque.

Britney Russell posted a 351 for City High while Jillian Hubble had a 349, Shaylin Brown 338 and Tracy Cirillo 316.

The City High boys finished seventh at the meet with a score of 2,630.

Cedar Falls won the boys title with a 3,206 followed by Western Dubuque with 3,165 and Linn-Mar with 3,004.

Matthew Swanson of Cedar Falls was the boys champion with a two-game total of 484 while City High was led by Nile Franz who finished with a 410.
