Solon and West High each climbed one spot in the most recent basketball rankings released Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

West High (5-3) jumped a spot to sixth in the 5A rankings while Solon (10-4) moved up one spot to No. 11 in the 3A rankings.

City High and West Branch each held their spots in the most recent rankings.

West Branch (9-1) remained third in the 2A rankings while City High (7-2) held at eighth in 5A.

Top-ranked teams remained the same as Johnson (5A), Glenwood (4A), Cherokee (3A), Maquoketa Valley (2A) and Algona Garrigan (1A) all remained atop their respective classes.
