Class 3A No. 12 Solon had a two-game winning streak stopped with a 62-53 loss to Marion on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Marion.

Ella Van Weelden had a game-high 28 points and Madison Prier added 20 for Marion as the Indians improved to 8-4 on the season with their sixth straight win.

Solon got 27 points from Callie Levin and eight each from Hilary Wilson and Kaia Holtkamp while dropping to 10-4 on the year.
