Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Routs Waterloo East for Fourth Straight Win

Ella Cook poured in a game-high 24 points to lift Class 5A eighth-ranked City High to a 79-42 win over Waterloo East in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup on Tuesday in Waterloo.
Cook led four players in double figures as City High improved to 7-2 on the season with its fourth consecutive win.
Eviyon Richardson had 19 points and nine rebounds while Andie Westlake had 15 points and four assists.
Kelsey Joens had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and also had five assists and seven steals for the Little Hawks.
Ellasa Horton had 11 points for Waterloo East which dropped to 2-10 with the loss.
