Swimming Roundup: West High Downs Cedar Rapids Washington on Senior Night

It was a celebratory senior night for the West High swim team as the Trojans posted a 112-58 win over Cedar Rapids Washington on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in Coralville.
West High won eight of 11 events on Thursday en route to the dual victory as four different Trojans claimed individual titles.
Holden Carter won the 100 and 200 freestyle to lead West High and the Trojans won the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
Carter won the 200 freestyle in 1:49.88 and added a title in the 100 freestyle in 49.39.
Kirk Brotherton won the 50 freestyle in 21.59, Andy Luo finished first in the 100 butterfly in 55.67 and Boyd Skelley took the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.49.
