Clear Creek Amana is back in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union basketball rankings.

After dropping out of the rankings last week Clear Creek Amana (8-2) reentered the Class 4A rankings this week when the IGHSAU released its most recent rankings on Thursday.

The Clippers have won back-to-back games after a road win over 3A No. 15 Vinton-Shellsburg on Tuesday.

Solon (9-3) climbed one spot to No. 12 in the Class 3A rankings while West Branch, West High and City High all held their spots.

West Branch (9-1) remained third in the Class 2A rankings while West High and City High held firm at seventh and eighth respectively in the 5A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week include Johnston (5A), Glenwood (4A), Cherokee (3A), Maquoketa Valley (2A) and Algona Garrigan (1A).
