West High defeated Linn-Mar 108-62 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in Marion.

Kirk Brotherton won both the 50 and 100 freestyle and West High also got individual titles from freshman Holden Carter, Max Gerke, Boyd Skelley and Jordan Christensen on its way to the dual victory.

Brotherton won the 100 freestyle in 48.8 and took the title in the 50 freestyle in 21.79.

Carter won the 100 butterfly in 51.63 while Gerke took the title in the 500 freestyle in 5:00.33.

Skelley won the 100 backstroke in 55.23 and Christensen added a title in the 100 breaststroke.

The West High squad of Skelley, Christensen, Carter and Luke Nichols won the 200 medley relay in 1:37.73.
