Class 3A No. 13 Solon overcame a late deficit to stretch its winning streak to seven with a 43-40 win over Dyersville Beckman on Friday in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Dyersville. Freshman Callie Levin scored the Spartans’ final seven points as Solon overcame a two-point deficit in the final 90 seconds to improve to 8-2 on the season.

Levin finished with a team-high 13 points while Elly Holubar added 11 and Makinley Levin had seven.

Hailey Miller had six points on a pair of 3-pointers and Ava Stebral added five.

Kennedy Arens had a game-high 16 points and Kamryn Klas had 10 for Dyersville Beckman which dropped to 3-7 with the loss.
