Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Falls to No. 6 Cedar Falls in Top-10 Showdown

Class 4A sixth-ranked Cedar Falls rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to knock off eighth-ranked City High in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division showdown on Friday in Cedar Falls.
Anaya Barney had 20 points and Jasmine Barney and Sydney Remmert each added 13 as Cedar Falls improved to 8-1 with its fourth consecutive win.
City High sophomore Kelsey Joens matched Barney with 20 points but Cedar Falls used a 23-point third-quarter to secure its first regular season win over the Little Hawks since 2014.
Ella Cook had 15 points and Eviyon Richardson had 12 for City High.
Andie Westlake added eight points for City High which dropped to 3-2 with the loss.
