Class 5A fifth-ranked West High won eight of the final 11 matches on its way to a 45-29 win over Cedar Rapids Prairie in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual on Thursday in Cedar Rapids.

West High record five falls and earned bonus points in all eight of its wins while moving to 2-0 in dual meets this season.

Kael Scranton, Hunter Garvin, Graham Gambrall Brett Pelfrey and Errol Alden all picked up pins for the Trojans while Grant O’Dell recorded a tech fall victory.
