Liberty High dropped a Mississippi Valley Conference dual to Cedar Rapids Washington 51-27 on Thursday in North Liberty.

Jaxon Morris, Darius Willis-Newell and Vinny Lima all picked up wins for the Lightning while Jarrod Alger and Drew Snyder both won via forfeit for Liberty High.

Willis-Newell secured a first-period fall at 182 pounds and Lima pinned Aiden Williams in 90 seconds at 195 pounds.

Morris won a 9-4 decision over Charles Rust at 120 pounds.
