Regina had its six-game winning streak to open the season snapped with a 48-30 loss to Class 2A No. 13 Bellevue on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Iowa City.

The Regals shot just 26 percent from the floor, including 5-of-24 from 3-point range, while posting a season-low scoring output.

Regina dropped to 6-1 with the loss while Bellevue improved to 8-1 on the season.

Grace Gaarde had eight points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals to lead Regina while Annie Gahan had eight points and three steals.

Hope Simpson added six points for the Regals.
