Boys Basketball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Races Past Williamsburg For Fourth Straight Win

Clear Creek Amana overcame a slow start and a double digit first-quarter deficit and raced past Williamsburg 77-52 in a WAMAC Conference West Division showdown in Williamsburg on Tuesday.
The win was the fourth straight for Clear Creek Amana and improved the Clippers to 5-2 on the season while Williamsburg had a two-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 4-4 on the year.
Williamsburg led 19-9 after one quarter but the Clippers scored 68 points over the final 24 minutes to pull away.
Ben Swails and Christian Withrow each had 17 points to lead a balanced Clear Creek Amana offensive attack.
Mike Potter had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Brock Reade had 10 points and six assists while Withrow added five assists.
Derek Weisskopf and Will DeSmet each had 12 points for Williamsburg.
