Girls Basketball Roundup: West Branch Gets Road Win at No. 13 Bellevue

West Branch faced a big test on Friday with a road trip to unbeaten No. 13 Bellevue.
The Bears passed that test with flying colors.
Sasha Koenig poured in a season-high 31 points as Class 2A fifth-ranked West Branch improved to 5-1 with a 62-51 win over Bellevue in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup.
West Branch moved to 5-1 in RVC play while Bellevue dropped to 6-1 and 5-1 in conference action.
Rylan Druecker had 14 points and five rebounds while Taya Young added 11 points, nine rebound and two steals for West Branch.
Koenig had five assists while Lexie Peak had three points, three assists and three rebounds.
