Clear Creek Amana won its second straight game with a 65-49 win over Independence in a WAMAC West Division matchup on Tuesday in Tiffin.

The Clippers used 23-point second-quarter to overcome an early deficit while improving to 3-2 on the season.

Independence dropped to 0-1 with the loss.

Christian Withrow scored a game-high 22 points to lead Clear Creek Amana while Brock Reade added 14 points and five assists.

Mike Potter had 14 points, nine rebounds, five steals and five assists for the Clippers.

Cameron Ridder made five 3-pointers and led Independence with 15 points.
