Solon split a pair of dual meets to open the season on Thursday defeating WAMAC rival Williamsburg 34-33 and falling to Class 1A second-ranked Lisbon 62-10.

Milo Ashbacker, Kaden Lamm, Caleb Ebert, Hayden Taylor, Lucas Kampman, Lucas TePoel, Erich Karsten and Gage Marty all had wins in the victory over Williamsburg.
