Girls Basketball Roundup: Top-ranked West Branch Rolls in Opener

Preseason top-ranked West Branch looked every bit like a number one team in its season opener.
Class 2A top-ranked West Branch had four players score in double figures and rolled to a 70-33 win over Durant (0-3, 0-2 RVC) on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference meeting in Durant.
Junior Delaynie Luneckas had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds and also blocked four shots, had five steals and two assists as Bears shot 49 percent from the field.
Rylan Druecker had 15 points and seven rebounds while Sasha Koenig added 14 points, five rebounds, six assists and four steals in the win.
Taya Young chipped in with 10 points and four assists and Lexie Peak had seven points four rebounds and three steals.
